This Division of the Finance Department oversees the City's accounting, accounts payable, payroll, auditing and provides citizens with the City's Financial Condition.

  1. Accounts Payable

    Accounts Payable is to ensure that all City of Ypsilanti funds are disbursed and recorded in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Accounts Payable is responsible for auditing and processing all invoices for payment.

  2. Payroll

    The Accounting Division is responsible for administering payroll for all City employees, Fire and Police retirees, some boards and commissions, and deductions from these payments.
