Friends of the Ypsilanti Police Department

The Friends of the Ypsilanti Police Department is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. Because of this, 100% of revenue goes toward enhancing the Ypsilanti experience for its citizens, businesses, and visitors.

The Friends of the Ypsilanti Police Department mission is to develop and maintain quality programs that help the Department’s community projects. We believe that these educational and awareness programs result in increased safety and economic viability in the Ypsilanti community.

The Kroger Community Rewards Program
Allows friends and supporters of the Ypsilanti Police Department to help raise money for their department, and community programs. All you have to do is shop for groceries, using your Krogers Rewards card. Shoppers simply create an account and register with the Community Rewards programs on the Kroger website, then choose Friends of the Ypsilanti Police Department from the list of charities.

Kroger keeps track of what you spend and will donate up to 4% from their community fund, based on your individual shopping, to the Friends of the Ypsilanti every quarter. View the online instructions for step by step instruction on how to register.
