The City of Ypsilanti Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, One South Huron Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on the following:
Application for Special Nonconforming Status: 1111 W. Cross St
The Planning Commission will hear a presentation, hold a public hearing, and make a determination regarding an application for a special nonconforming status at 1111 W. Cross St. The parcel is currently zoned R-1, Single-Family residential. The applicant is requesting a special nonconforming status for a two family dwelling unit in a single family residential area that would allow the 2-units to be rebuilt in the event of a casualty, such as a fire.
