The City of Ypsilanti Non-Motorized Advisory Committee will host a public input session, Wednesday, June 28th to give the public an update on current projects as well as gather input for making Ypsilanti a better place to walk, bicycle and provide access for the disabled.
The event will be held at the Ypsilanti Freight House on Market Street in Depot Town and start at 7pm. Speakers will include representatives of the City Non-Motorized Advisory Committee, City Planning/Economic Department Departments, the Downtown Development Authority, the Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Commission (speaking about the Border To Border Trail status) and the County transportation-planning agency, the Washtenaw Area Transportation Study (WATS).
Suggestions gathered will be used by both the City and County to update their Non-Motorized Plans, by the County Parks Commission for improvements to the Border To Border Trail in the Ypsilanti area, as well by the Downtown Development Authority for their biking and walking projects
