The City of Ypsilanti Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, 23 May 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, One South Huron Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on the following:
The Zoning Board of Appeals will hear an application, hold a public hearing, and make a determination regarding an application for the following variances:
From §122-683, requiring a 10’ setback of parking from neighboring lots, to permit a 3’ setback
From §122-477, requiring adherence to commercial frontage standards, to permit 3% transparency on Huron, a distance from ground to window of greater than 2.5’, and a distance between openings of greater than 2’.
From §122-607(a), requiring that the building entrance face the street.
From §122-477, requiring a street setback of between 5-15’.
The property in question is currently zoned Neighborhood Corridor, with a building type of Single-Story Commercial. The address, parcel number, and legal descriptions are:
