The City of Ypsilanti City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at the 7:00 p.m. regular meeting of City Council in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, One South Huron Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on the following:
Public Hearing to consider an Ordinance to add a New Article VII to Chapter 2 – Administration of the City of Ypsilanti Code of Ordinances to be titled “Departments of the City” and to add new divisions thereto; and to create the Department of Finance and Treasury, create the position of Finance Director/Treasurer, establish the functions of the Department, provide for the prescription of Departmental Rules and Regulations, and permit the appointment of a Deputy and designation of an Acting Director.
The City invites all citizens to attend this meeting or to send written comments to the City of Ypsilanti. The City will provide necessary auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for people with hearing disabilities or audio tapes of printed materials for people with vision disabilities, upon two days’ notice to the City of Ypsilanti: Those requiring these aids or services should contact the City of Ypsilanti at:
