The City of Ypsilanti will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at 7 p.m. at Maiz, located at 36 E Cross in Ypsilanti, to discuss the potential closing of North Grove and North Park to all traffic at the railroad tracks.
These street closures will allow for an Amtrak stop in Ypsilanti to be possible and will help improve the timeliness of the Wolverine line; however, traffic will no longer be able to use North Grove or North Park as a cut-through between East Cross and East Michigan.
The City invites all citizens to attend this meeting or to send written comments to the City of Ypsilanti's Community & Economic Development Department, which is located at 1 S Huron Street in Ypsilanti.
