Public hearings will be held by the Planning Commission at their regular meeting to consider the following items:
Special Use Permit: 534, 530, 528 N Huron St: Food Store with Sales of Alcohol, less than 15,000 square feet
The Planning Commission will hear a presentation, hold a public hearing, and make a determination regarding an application for a special use permit at 534/530/528 N Huron St. The parcel is currently zoned NC, Neighborhood Corridor. The applicant is requesting a special use permit to allow them to expand the existing party store. The address, parcel number, and legal description of the parcel are:
Text Amendment: Number of Unrelated Occupants Increase in CN and CN-Mid Zoning Districts
The Planning Commission will hear a presentation, hold a public hearing, and make a recommendation to City Council regarding a proposed change to the zoning ordinance that was requested by City Council per Resolution 2018-253. The proposed change would allow more than three unrelated (non-family) adults to cohabitate in the Core Neighborhood and Core Neighborhood-Mid zoning districts, in single-family homes, by right.

The City invites all interested persons to attend this meeting or to send written comments to the City of Ypsilanti, Community & Economic Development Department, One South Huron Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197.
