Parking Tickets

In response to a PARKING VIOLATION, you must do one of the following:

A. Admit Responsibility - If you choose this option, all violations must be paid in full. Partial payments are not accepted. Fines may be paid:
1. By mail (check or money order), made payable to 14A2 District Court. DO NOT SEND CASH
2. At any 14A District Court
3. Online at 14Adistrictcourt.org

B. Admit Responsibility with an explanation - If you choose this option, complete one of the following:
1. Mail a written letter (ATTN: Magistrate) to the 14A2 District Court
2. Explain in-person at the 14A2 District Court

C. Deny Responsibility - If you choose this option, appeal a violation by requesting an informal hearing through the following ways:
1. Mail the 14A2 District Court
2. Call the 14A2 District Court at (734) 484-6690
3. Visit the 14A2 District Court

FAILURE TO RESPOND WITH OPTION A, B OR C WITHIN 10 DAYS WILL RESULT IN A DEFAULT JUDGMENT AND POSSIBLE SUSPENSION OF OPERATOR/CHAUFFEUR LICENSE. ADDITIONAL PENALTIES FROM THE COURT MAY BE ADDED AT THAT TIME.

PAYMENTS ARE PROCESSED AS RECEIVED.  POSTMARKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED AS EVIDENCE OF TIMELY PAYMENT.
