Ypsilanti Historical Museum

Location: 220 N. Huron Street

The Ypsilanti Historical Museum is located in an elegant brick Victorian mansion built by Asa Dow in 1860.   The museum was purchased by the City in 1966 and today offers visitors an opportunity to experience Ypsilanti history through the historic Victorian home furnishings and a variety of displays and exhibits depicting our Ypsilanti heritage.  The City's historical archives are also housed within the museum.  The Ypsilanti Historical Society is responsible for coordination of museum programs, displays, and events.
