The newest edition to the cultural scene in Downtown Ypsilanti is the Riverside Arts Center, just located north of Michigan Avenue on Huron Street. Purchased by the Ypsilanti Downtown Development Authority in 1994, this structure is being transformed to its new and exciting use as a cultural arts center. The Riverside Arts Center is bringing a diverse blend of cultural offerings, such as live musical performances, theater, dance, films, comedy and visual arts displays, to the residents and visitors to the community.
