City of Ypsilanti, Michigan

Due to budgetary constraints the City of Ypsilanti has eliminated it's Parks & Recreation Department. However the City recognizes the crucial role recreation and parks play in ensuring a high quality of life for its residents. The City has been able to maintain its park system and provide recreational oppurtunities through various public-private partnerships. The City encourages you to get out an enjoy the parks in the City and to participate in the numerious special events and recreational oppurtunites offered throughout the year.
