100 Market Plaza
Ypsilanti, MI 48197
In 2004 the Freighthouse was closed indefinitely for repairs. However, the Ypsilanti Farmer’s Market continues outdoors on the plaza every Wednesday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm from May through November. Since the closing of the Freighthouse in 2004, the City has worked closely with the Friends of the Ypsilanti Freighthouse to make the repairs necessary to reopen the Freighthouse. Click here for more information on efforts to reopen the Freighthouse.
For more information on the Freighthouse, or how you can help, please contact the City Manager's Office at (734) 483-7290 or visit the Friends of the Ypsilanti Freighthouse web site at http://www.foyf.org/.
