To Redeem a Towed Vehicle

For 6 or more parking citations

1. Call the City Treasurer’s office at 734-483-1103 to find out what amount is due.   Payment for tickets on a towed vehicle is CASH ONLY.
2. You then need to pay the amount due with the City Treasurer, located on the third floor of City Hall 1 S. Huron.   From there you will get a paid receipt.
3. Next take your paid receipt along with your picture id to the Ypsilanti Police station, located at 505 W. Michigan .   They will then issue you a Vehicle release form.
4. Take the vehicle release form to the tow company.   The tow company accepts Cash only for payment.
