Trees, Native Wildflower Prairies, and Rain Gardens Vision Workshop
Thursday, May 12, 2022
Come out to this workshop hosted by the Huron River Watershed Council to help create a Green Infrastructure Vision for the City of Ypsilanti and Ypsilanti Township!
Green Infrastructure includes forests, wetlands, trees, rain gardens and other things that help slow down stormwater, keep our rivers clean, reduce flooding and provide wildlife habitat.
Attendees will hear presentations from the HRWC, the Washtenaw County Conservation District, the Washtenaw County Water Resources Commissioner's office, and more; then study maps of the communities’ natural areas, water resources, recreational areas, and master plan and participate in a fun, hands-on assessment of current and potential green infrastructure.
Your input is important!
All community residents and stakeholders are welcome to attend this free event. RSVP to kolsson@hrwc.org
