There will be a “Hunters of the Sky” presentation from the Leslie Science & Nature Center at 1pm and an educational program on river wildlife by the Huron Clinton Metroparks Mobile Learning Center. Other exhibitors include the Huron River Watershed Council, Fowling Warehouse Ypsi Ann Arbor, the Huron Waterloo Pathways Initiative/Border to Border Trail, Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation, the Washtenaw County Water Resources Commissioner's Office, the Ypsilanti District Library, and the Ypsilanti Township Recreation Department.
Frog Island Park is on the Huron River just north of Riverside Park, between Cross Street and Forest Avenue. It is connected to Riverside Park via the "tridge," a three-pointed bridge at the park's south end. The address is 699 Rice Street, Ypsilanti, MI 48197. Washtenaw County’s Border to Border Trail (B2B Trail), a 35-mile, 10-foot wide, ADA accessible, paved pathway, makes its way through Frog Island Park.
