Tuesday, 2 June 2020
The City of Ypsilanti City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 2nd, at the 6:00 p.m. regular meeting in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, One South Huron Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on the following:
Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund Application: Huron Street over I-94 Non-motorized Path Crossing
This grant would be used to help fund construction of a nonmotorized pathway over I-94 at Huron Street, at the boundary between the City of Ypsilanti and the Charter Township of Ypsilanti. This pathway would connect to proposed trails and bike lanes both north and south of I-94, and provide for safe pedestrian and bicyclist travel across I-94. This would involve the reconfiguration of the on-ramp to eastbound I-94. The City of Ypsilanti is the applicant for this grant; MDOT is the planned project manager.
The City invites all interested persons to attend this meeting or to send written comments to the City of Ypsilanti, Department of Public Services, One S Huron, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197.
