Curbside Yard Waste Collection Resumes Monday April 5, 2021
The Department of Public Services will resume curbside yard waste collection the week of Monday April 5, 2021. As a reminder, curbside yard waste collection occurs on the same day as your trash and recycling collection. Yard waste consists of grass clippings, leaves, garden material, and bundled or contained branches that are two to three inches or smaller in diameter and cut in four-foot lengths or smaller. Residents can place their yard waste in brown paper compost bags or in a trash can (32 gallons or smaller) with a Department of Public Services yard waste sticker. Containers and paper bags are required to be 50 pounds in weight or less for collection and please place the yard waste at the curb no later than 6:00 a.m. on the day of collection or the evening prior. If there are any additional questions you may visit the Department of Public Services yard waste webpage at the following link https://cityofypsilanti.com/315/Yard-Wastecontact or contact us via phone at 734-483-1421 or via e-mail at email@example.com. Thank you and have a great week!
