PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

City of Ypsilanti Planning Commission

Wednesday, April 21, 2021, 7:00 pm

Virtual Meeting


Two public hearings will be held by the Planning Commission at their regular meeting to consider the following items:


Master Plan Update

The Planning Commission will hear a presentation, hold a public hearing, and make a recommendation to City Council regarding the drafted Master Plan Update. The Plan Update was distributed on January 14, 2021 for public comment. The public comment period closes on April 12, 2021. Members of the public may wish to provide comment during this meeting’s public hearing. The plan is available in its entirety at: https://cityofypsilanti.com/261/Current-Upcoming-Planning-Projects.


Special Use Permit: Café at 202 N Washington St

The Planning Commission will hear a presentation, hold a public hearing, and may decide on an application for a Special Use Permit for a café at 202 N Washington St (11-11-40-411-004; YP CITY 44W-27 S 1/2 OF W 1/4 OF LOT 335 NORRIS & CROSS ADDITION).

The City invites all interested persons to attend this meeting or to send written comments to the City of Ypsilanti, Community & Economic Development Department, One South Huron Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197.  The City of Ypsilanti will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired, Limited English Proficiency (LEP) services, and audios of printed materials being considered at the meeting.  Individuals requiring auxiliary aids or services should provide two (2) days’ notice to the City, and contact the City by writing the City Clerk's Office, One South Huron Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197; or by calling the Clerk’s Office at (734) 483-1100.
