Text Amendment: Medical Marijuana Provisioning Centers & Medical Marijuana Growing &/or Processing FacilitiesTabled from 3/2018
The Planning Commission will hear a presentation, hold a public hearing, and make a recommendation to City Council regarding a proposed amendment to the text of the zoning ordinance. The proposed amendment will increase the required distance between Medical Marijuana Dispensaries/Provisioning Centers from 500 feet, to 1000 feet, a modification of Section 122-532.
Map Amendment (Conditional Rezoning): 9 Casler
The Planning Commission will hear a presentation, hold a public hearing, and make a recommendation to City Council regarding the conditional rezoning of 9 Casler St. The parcel is currently zoned CN-Mid, Core Neighborhood Mid. The applicant is requesting a rezoning to CN, Core Neighborhood. The address, parcel number, and legal description of the parcel are: 9 Casler St: 11-11-39-403-001, 37W-8 PART OF LOT 7, A. LAZELIER'SADD & UNPLATTED LAND, COM ON S LINE LOT 7, A. LAZELIER'S ADD 142.56 FT FROM NW COR SAID LOT, TH N 47 DEG 30' E 46.20 FT, TH N 86 DEG 30' E 114.84 FT. TH S9 DEG W 66 FT, TH S 79 DEG W 95.7 FT TO CASLER ST, TH N 45 DEG W ALONG N LINE CASLER ST. 66 FT TO PT OF BEG.
The applicant has freely offered conditions upon the rezoning in accordance with 122-362(c).
Text Amendment: Commercial Sales and Commercial Recreational Use of Firearms
The Planning Commission will hear a presentation, hold a public hearing, and make a recommendation to City Council regarding a proposed change to zoning ordinance regarding firearms sales and related recreational uses, affecting Article II, Definitions; Article IV, Districts; and Article V, Use Regulations.
Text Amendment: Citywide
The Planning Commission will hear a presentation, hold a public hearing, and make a recommendation to City Council regarding the proposed adoption of an amendment to the zoning text of the zoning code. The Planning Commission and city staff have regularly track organizational changes and issues within the code and have drafted an amendment to address these issues. These amendments include but are not limited to:
• Numbering and formatting corrections• Reference errors• Conflicting information• Corner visibility standards, update for context-sensitivity• Parking standards in the walkable form-based districts, update for walkability• Accessory building setbacks in the walkable form-based districts, update to match use-based districts• Include CN-Sf multifamily properties in eligibility for Non-Conforming A status
Capital Improvements Public Hearing: 2019 Roads Program: Congress, Huron, Harriet
The Planning Commission will hear a presentation, hold a public hearing and receive comments regarding the 2019 Roads Maintenance Program, including resurfacing Congress (South) between Elm and Mansfield; Huron between Forest and Cross; and the eastbound lanes of Harriet between Hamilton and Washington.
