Public hearings will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals to receive comments on the following:
Appeal of Administrative Decision: Abandoned use regarding former multi-family dwelling at 472 Second Street
The Zoning Board of Appeals will hear an application, hold a public hearing, and make a determination regarding an appeal of an administrative decision to abandon the property’s use as a two-family dwelling. The property in question is currently zoned R-1, Single Family Residential. The property had previously functioned as a two-family dwelling non-confirming use, which has been determined abandoned by Staff.
Its address, parcel number, and legal description are: 472 Second, 11-11-39-285-012, YP CITY 39W-14 N 1/2 OF LOT 43 MORSE’S ADDITION.

The City invites all interested persons to attend this meeting or to send written comments to the City of Ypsilanti, Community & Economic Development Department, One South Huron Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197. The City of Ypsilanti will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired, Limited English Proficiency (LEP) services, and audios of printed materials being considered at the meeting.
