Rutherford Pool Updates
We will be open on the Fourth with normal programming EXCEPT there is no early morning lap swim and there are not any swim lessons on that day. There are many inquiries regarding the swim lesson waitlist. We appreciate your patience as we are contacting people as we can fill spots. Emails will be going out tomorrow to Session Three Lesson registrants. Please check your email and respond to the questions asked. Those registered for Baby Bubbles will also be receiving an email this week. Please also respond to the email. Deep Water Exercise returns during the four Sundays in July (11 am-12 pm). Please register for the class at the concession stand. We only have 10 water belts. Please feel free to bring your own and indicate that on the sign-up sheet. Lastly, the triathlon registration form is now in the concession stand. Online registration is not set up yet. The triathlon is for kids 4-12 years old and will be held on August 10. While it is officially a fundraiser for the pool, it is a great event to introduce kids to the sport of triathlons. Kids can choose their distances, and no time is kept. If you wish to help volunteer, please send an email to the triathlon volunteer.

Riverside Arts Center UpdatesRiverside Arts Center (RAC) has just announced three calls for art for upcoming exhibitions in their North Gallery for the remainder of 2024 and the beginning of 2025. "Anything But... Canvas." Artists are invited to submit works that transcend canvas as a medium and delve into realms of mixed media. This exhibition aims to celebrate the boundless possibilities and innovative approaches that arise when artists venture outside the familiar confines of a canvas including 2D and 3D works. "Solstitium: The Sun Stands Still." This exhibition honors the Winter Solstice, symbolizing the turning point when days cease to shorten and begin to get longer—a moment often interpreted as a metaphorical rebirth and new beginnings. Artists are invited to interpret these themes in their own styles and mediums. "Exhibition Proposals" Riverside Arts Center is looking for exhibition proposals for September, 2025. This includes solo shows, groups of artists, guilds, and collectives. For more complete details, click here! [https://www.riversidearts.org/artist-opportunities-2/}
