Public Hearing Notice

City of Ypsilanti Planning Commission

Wednesday, May 16, 2018

The City of Ypsilanti Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, One South Huron Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197.  The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on the following:

 

Zoning Text Amendment: NC- Neighborhood Corridor-Apartments Below Permitted Use

The Planning Commission will hear a presentation, hold a public hearing, and make a recommendation to City Council regarding the proposed adoption of an amendment to the zoning text of the zoning code.  This amendment will add the permitted use of apartments located below the ground floor of permitted nonresidential uses to Sec. 122-451 Permissible Uses for Neighborhood Corridor.

Zoning Text Amendment: NC- Neighborhood Corridor-Small Engine

The Planning Commission will hear a presentation, hold a public hearing, and make a recommendation to City Council regarding the proposed adoption of an amendment to the zoning text of the zoning code.  This amendment will add the permitted use of small engine repair to Sec. 122-451 Permissible Uses for Neighborhood Corridor and the definition of engine repair, small to Sec. 122-203 Definitions.
