City of Ypsilanti Historic District Commission

Tuesday, November 14, 2017

The City of Ypsilanti Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at Spark East, 215 W Michigan Ave, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197.  The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on the following:


118-120 Maple St: demolition of accessory structure

The Historic District Commission will hear a presentation, hold a public hearing, and make a determination regarding an application for demolition of an accessory structure/outbuilding at 118-120 Maple St on the grounds that the structure constitutes a hazard to the safety of the public or the occupants.  Application was made by current owner John Winn. The address, parcel number, and legal description of the parcel are:

  • 118-120 Maple St: 11-11-04-495-007, YP CITY 21E-10 LOT 434 M. NORRIS' ADDITION.

The City invites all citizens to attend this meeting, and time will be allotted for comments by the public at this meeting.  Interested citizens may also send written comments to the City of Ypsilanti, Historic District Commission, One South Huron Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197.  Historic District Commission packets, including staff reviews and digital plans when possible, are available at cityofypsilanti.com/hdc. For further information, please call 734-483-9646 or email ckochanek@cityofypsilanti.com.
