City of Ypsilanti City Council

The City of Ypsilanti City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at the regular 7:00 p.m. meeting in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, One South Huron Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on the following:
Map Amendment (Rezoning): 720 Norris & 715-725 N River
The City Council will hear a presentation, hold a public hearing, and consider the first reading of an ordinance to rezone 720 Norris, and the west 65’ of 715 N River, 717 N River, 719 N River, 721 N River, 723 N River and 725 N River. The Planning Commission recommended approval to City Council with one condition at their April meeting. 720 Norris is currently zoned NC, Neighborhood Corridor and 715-725 N River are currently zoned CN-Mid, Core Neighborhood Mid. The applicant is requesting a rezoning to GC-General Corridor for all of 720 Norris and the west 65’ of 715-725 N River. The Master Planned future land use for 720 Norris is Central Neighborhood and for 715-725 N River is Outlying Neighborhood. The address and parcel numbers of the properties to be rezoned are:
