City of Ypsilanti City Council

The City of Ypsilanti City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at the regular 7:00 p.m. meeting in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, One South Huron Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on the following:
Zoning Text Amendment: Historic Corridor, Neighborhood Corridor, and General Corridor -Apartments Below Permitted Use
City Council will consider a proposed ordinance to amend the text of Chapter 122 of the Ypsilanti Code of Ordinances. This amendment will add the permitted use of apartments located below the ground floor of permitted nonresidential uses to Sec. 122-451 Permissible Uses for Historic Corridor, Neighborhood Corridor, and General Corridor.
Zoning Text Amendment: Historic Corridor, Neighborhood Corridor, and General Corridor -Automobile Repair
City Council will consider a proposed ordinance to amend the text of Chapter 122 of the Ypsilanti Code of Ordinances. This amendment will add the permitted use of automobile repair, in a facility less than 5,000 square feet, all repair and storage within a fully enclosed building, and with business hours limited to between 7am and 10pm, to Sec. 122-451 Permissible Uses for Historic Corridor, Neighborhood Corridor, and General Corridor.
