Major street closure permits are $1,500/per street/per day.
Local street permits are $350/street/day.
Insurance will be required for all Street Closures in the amount of $250,000 per occurrence, naming the City of Ypsilanti as an additional insured.
Note: An event map is required for all events considered to be Class 2 or higher.
If your event will serve alcohol, use streets and/or sidewalks (walk, run, etc), or will use multiple locations or more than just a park pavilion, please attach a complete map showing the assembly and dispersal locations and the route plan. Also show any streets or parking lots requested to be blocked off.

Event coordinators are responsible for ensuring compliance with permissible noise levels. Please review the Special Events Policy to determine of a noise permit is required for your event.
Event sponsors are responsible for obtaining any necessary music or other intellectual property licenses associated with their event.
Penalties will be assessed for the event site not being restored to its original condition. If trash or other event-related debris is left anywhere but inside a designated trash receptacle, a charge may be incurred for site clean-up.
