2. Instructions

   City of Ypsilanti residents are eligible to sign up for a pass to use Recycle Ann Arbor's Drop-Off Station at a reduced rate. Commercial entities are not eligible for this pass. 

   This pass entitles the holder to free entry and free recycling of the items listed below; recycling items not on that list will incur a fee.

   • Paper (shredded paper, when in paper bags, accepted for an additional fee)
   • Cardboard
   • Plastics (#1, #2, and #5 only)
   • Metal cans and non-electrical scrap metals
   • Glass food and beverage containers
   • Up to 3 bags of textiles
   • Automotive  batteries, if they are not bloated, corroded, leaking or damaged 

   The Drop-Off Station accepts many more items for recycling and disposal, but charges additional fees to accept them. Please check their website at recycleannarbor.org or call (734) 971-7400 for a current list of items they accept as well as fees. 

   All passes issued before June 30, 2025 have expired. Please fill out this form for a new pass.

    Your pass will be available for pickup by the next business day, or will be mailed within 5 business days.

    If your pass has not been picked up after five business days, it will be mailed to you.

    City Hall is located at 1 S Huron St, Ypsilanti MI 48197, at the southeast corner of Michigan and Huron Streets; open Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm.
