Other Parking Permits
Service Vehicle Passes
Within the On-Street Parking Permit Zones as shown on this map, non-resident property owners may apply for Service Vehicle Passes to be used by themselves or individuals performing work on the property. The application fees, requirements, and rules of use can be found below:
- Fee: $100
- In order to apply for a Service Vehicle Pass, you must have a current driver's license or state ID and proof of ownership of the property. If your name or the name of a company you own is listed on the property's tax records, those can be pulled up by Treasury to use as proof of ownership (provided proof of ownership of the company is provided if applicable).
- This permit is a card that should be placed on the driver's side dashboard when in use.
- You can be issued up to two Service Vehicle Passes per property.

Contractor Parking Permits
Contractors performing work on an address located within one of the city's permit parking zones may apply for a Contractor Parking Permit. The application fees, requirements, and rules of use can be found below:
- Fee: $25 per week
- In order to apply for a Contractor Parking Permit, you must have a current driver's license or state ID and proof that you are doing work on the property ( acceptable proof includes a work agreement, permit(s), and other similar documentation).
- This permit is a card that should be placed on the driver's side dashboard when in use.

Special Events and Residential (on-street) Parking
Inquiries or requests regarding parking during events, such as estate sales, athletic events, or block parties, must be made in writing at least one week in advance either by email to parkingticketappeals@cityofypsilanti.com or by dropping it off at City Hall. These requests are evaluated on a case by case basis and an events permit or other permit may also be required.
